ATENCIÓN PLENA E INTELIGENCIA EMOCIONAL: RELACIONES ENTRE LAS VARIABLES

Resumen

En el presente artículo se realiza una revisión de literatura sobre las relaciones que existen entre el constructo de atención plena y el de inteligencia emocional entendido este última como habilidad y no como rasgo, dado que se tiene muchas perspectivas sobre el significado de atención plena, sus orígenes, y múltiples aplicaciones y se presenta entre la intersección de la ciencia y la técnica, lo que dificulta la comprensión de su relación con la inteligencia emocional. La relación directa entre las dos variables, atención plena e inteligencia emocional no es abundante en la documentación investigada, aunque hay más estudios sobre cuando su relación se encuentra como un medio, herramienta o como un entrenamiento o capacitación para mejorar bienestar, reducir estrés entre otros objetivos y menos cuando se explica su influencia sobre la inteligencia emocional. El resultado de este artículo refuerza que existe una relación aún no medida, ni valorada fehacientemente entre las variables lo que entrega una oportunidad de investigaciones futuras.
