Abstract

The wave equation is a topic of great importance in the study of equations of Mathematical Physics, this article aims to explain initially obtaining the solution to the one-dimensional wave equation with the method of D'Almbert. In the second part of the threedimensional wave equation supported theories such as the Fourier Integral, Convolution of functions and the theory of generalized functions developed in large part by the Russian mathematician Sergei Sovalev resolved.
