Abstract

Traceability is a standard that has correspondence with certain references which are defined through a chain of supplies.  It can also be defined as a system of procedures that give the location, history, and trail of a product in a distribution chain. These control systems allow the producer to improve and optimize the processes, they are included in the quality certification systems, and it is mandatory in the good practice of manufacture for pharmaceutical laboratories, especially when a faulty good is detected and it is an urgent obligation to remove the entire lot from the market. In this article a control system that allows registering the movement of the high pressure cylinders that transport medicinal gas since they leave the factory until they return and restart the productive cycle will be presented.  The system consists of two groups of programs, the first one is operative to ensure the traceability, and the second one is supportive, useful for those managers with the intention of improving and optimizing the resources, considering that the weight of traceability should not diminish the agility of dispatching, nor raise the production time. These groups have been called: Traceability and Cylinder Rotation Control, Management and Monitoring Reports.
