Revisión y aplicación del primer método para maximización del Bandwidth en el problema de sincronización de semáforos

Abstract

 In this paper we show a complete and thorough review of the first method for synchronization of traffic lights on an artery on a transport network. From our point of view is the first and most influential approach to solve this problem. We have organized the information of algorithms proposed in the original publication in order to make reading and understanding more fluid. It is also presented a review of all lemmas and theorems that justify and validate the complete procedure. Furthermore we give computational results using the method on a street in Guayaquil-Ecuador with different setups. Keywords: Synchronization, Traffic lights, optimization.
